Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Payment information (processed securely via Stripe)
  • Quote, payment, preferred appointment and installation details you submit through the website
  • Optional boiler, flue, gas-meter and installation-area photos you send for quote review
  • Any messages or enquiries you send through our forms
  • Website source, advertising and referral details that help us understand which page or advert led to an enquiry

Boiler quote answers may be saved in a short-term browser draft on your device so you can continue the form. Contact details are not saved in that browser draft. Optional quote photos are kept out of that browser draft. The quote journey resizes them and removes embedded phone-location metadata before sending them privately to Nimbus for review.

Where Information Comes From

Most information comes from you when you contact us, use a website form, make a payment or arrange work. When somebody else arranges work at your property, we may receive your name, contact details, property address and job details from that person, such as a landlord, letting agent or other person responsible for the booking. We may also receive payment status from our payment provider and enquiry source information from the page or link you used.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide accurate heating quotes and consultations
  • Review installation photos to confirm likely boiler, flue, gas-supply and access scope
  • Process transactions and manage your installation
  • Communicate with you about your project and our services
  • Send internal lead notifications to the Nimbus office inbox so enquiries are not missed
  • Send customer acknowledgement emails for website enquiries where that feature is enabled
  • Store website lead records securely so Nimbus can follow up enquiries and check lead-handling quality
  • Measure website enquiries and quote journeys where analytics cookies are accepted
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., Gas Safe)

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to help us operate our business:

  • Stripe: For secure payment processing. We do not store your full credit card details.
  • Resend: For sending website enquiry, quote, optional quote-photo, customer acknowledgement and payment notification emails.
  • Supabase or Upstash: For secure website lead storage where configured.
  • Cloudflare: For website hosting, deployment, security and performance delivery.
  • Google Analytics: For website and enquiry measurement where analytics cookies are accepted.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking and Microsoft Clarity: Currently paused. Accepting analytics cookies does not start these tools.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share personal information where needed to provide the service, process payments, run the website, comply with safety or legal obligations or work with approved installation, compliance, design or grant-support partners where that is part of your project.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

Your Rights

Depending on the circumstances and the reason we use your information, you may ask us to:
