Yes, but the design matters more than the age of the house. We assess insulation and room-by-room heat demand before selecting the heat pump and any radiator or pipework changes.
Will I need new radiators or underfloor heating?
Not necessarily. Existing radiators are checked against each room's heat demand at the proposed water temperature. Some may need upgrading; underfloor heating is an option, not a requirement.
Where will the outdoor unit and hot-water cylinder go?
The survey checks outdoor airflow, access, drainage and noise considerations, together with indoor hot-water space. A home replacing a combi boiler may need space for a cylinder.
